After many years toying with production, slowly learning the ins and outs and finding his sound the pandemic has been a blessing in disguise! Ryan was able to shift his focus from events and all the stresses that come with that to finally being able to dedicate time to producing and the goal of creating an EP that could be released with the brand and label he helped create!

From our perspective Ryan took the right route, taking the time to get to a level were he deemed good enough, only sending snippets to his peers for feedback over the past few years and not jumping the gun on a release just for the sake of it! That mentality has certainly paid dividends judging by the quality of his first release on the illicit platform with some of his other tracks already gaining interest from other labels!

In all honesty we were blown away by the quality of the two tracks that Ryan has chosen for this EP! When you are only receiving snippets of unfinished tracks from time to time it's hard to get a full grasp of an artists progression but once he sent on the finished product we were ecstatic!

After a quite few months to get an EP like this together, it shows how much work has been put in and all those hours plugging away have
finally bared fruit!

Initially 'Who's Terrance' was partnered up with a different track but once Ryan sent on 'Gotta Get!' we just knew it had to be those two as they complemented each other so well! So that's how we ended up with 'Gotta Get!' not a crazy story but we would of been kicking ourselves if we missed out on the chance to release them together.

Fortunately though, Ryan has some other plans for the track we passed up on so you will be hearing that very soon as part of another very interesting project, so keep an eye out for that!

This EP was due to be released in May but after some small issues we decided to push it back to make sure
the very best product was delivered and it was well worth the wait!

With this release alongside the rebranding of the label courtesy of the brilliant Andrew Thompson we hope that this is the beginning of something really special!
